The Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, As'ad Hasan Shiban, stated that Syria has no minorities and that all Syrians are under the law and constitution. He also emphasized that Syria is one of the pillars of stability in the region.
أكد وزير الخارجية والمغتربين السوري أسعد حسن الشيباني أنه ليس لدينا في سورية أقليات وأكثريات، فالجميع سوريون تحت القانون والدستور السوري، مشيرا إلى أن سورية إحدى ركائز الاستقرار في المنطقة .
ونقلت الوكالة العربية السورية للأنباء سانا اليوم الاثنين عن الشيباني قوله ، خلال مؤتمر صحافي على هامش منتدى الشراكة بين الاتحاد الأوروبي وسورية في بروكسل، :نعمل اليوم على إعادة بناء سورية في جميع المجالات وتسهيل عودة اللاجئين بشكل طوعي. وأضاف أن سورية تدخل اليوم لتأسيس مسار مؤسسي ومستدام يتجاوز تقديم المساعدات والإغاثة لبناء مسار للتعاون الثنائي والشراكة المبنية على المنفعة المتبادلة ، مشيرا إلى أن سورية تدخل هذه المحادثات بأعلى درجات الجدية ونتوقع من شركائنا أن نخرج من هذا الاجتماع بأرضية تفاهم صلبة.
وتابع الشيباني: ندرك جميعاً أن اللحظة الجيوسياسية الراهنة الاستثنائية تحمل فرصاً نادرة للمنطقة والقارة الأوروبية معاً والاستثمار في هذه اللحظة يتطلب المبادرة فالنوافذ التاريخية تُغلق إن لم تُستثمر في حينها وما نستطيع إنجازه اليوم مجتمعين قد يتعدى إنجازه غداً. وبين الشيباني أن سورية إحدى ركائز الاستقرار في المنطقة وعززنا هذا الاستقرار خلال العام ونصف والمرحلة لم تنتهِ فهي تحتاج إلى استكمال عملية إعادة البناء وإصلاح البنية التحتية وهذا ما أتينا لتحقيقه اليوم.
سورية اليوم هي أحد الطرق البديلة كطريق استراتيجي ومستقر، وهي بموقعها الاستراتيجي تستطيع أن تكون أحد الطرق الآمنة لسلاسل التوريد. ننظر إلى الاتحاد الأوروبي والولايات المتحدة الأميركية ودول الخليج العربي على أنهم شركاء لسورية. ننظر إلى لبنان كجار وشريك، ولدينا تعاون اقتصادي بين البلدين لكن لدينا هواجس أمنية نظراً لوجود سلاح منفلت بيد بعض الميليشيات، لذلك نسعى لتطوير العلاقات متجاوزين إرث الماضي الذي خلفه النظام البائد.
إسرائيل منذ عام ونصف تعمل على تهديد وزعزعة الاستقرار في سورية، ونحن قلنا منذ اليوم الأول إننا ملتزمون باتفاق فصل القوات لعام 1974 وتفعيل دور قوة الأمم المتحدة لمراقبة فض الاشتباك أندوف، وخضنا مفاوضات برعاية أميركية لأن سورية تريد التركيز على إعادة الإعمار والاستقرار وتهيئة البيئة الآمنة لعودة السوريين. من جهتها ، قالت المفوضة الأوروبية لشؤون المتوسط دوبرافكا شويسا ، في المؤتمر، إننا نقف اليوم مع سورية للانتقال من الأزمة إلى التعافي، فسورية من أهم دول شرق المتوسط وإعادة إعمارها تحتاج للعمل معاً لكون الاحتياجات كبيرة وهائلة.
نقدم الدعم للمؤسسات الصحية والبنى التحتية إضافة إلى تعزيز وتيرة تحقيق التعافي الاقتصادي والاجتماعي وبناء المؤسسات وهذا أساس سورية مزدهرة للجميع. تحقيق التعافي في سورية يكون ببناء المستقبل وتحقيق القدرة على التأقلم لبث الأمل في نفوس السوريين، مشيرة إلى أن سورية تسير في الطريق الصحيح وتحقيق التعافي يحتاج إلى بعض الوقت
