The Dubai Cooperative Association for Fishermen and Union Cooperative have launched a community initiative, in collaboration with the Dubai Community Development Department, to support and empower fishermen in Dubai. The initiative aims to provide Union Cooperative prepaid cards to fishermen, thereby enhancing their social and economic stability and supporting the sustainability of the fishing industry, which is an integral part of Dubai's national and cultural heritage.
«بطاقات مسبقة الدفع» للصيادين في دبيالتاريخ:أطلقت جمعية دبي التعاونية لصيادي الأسماك، وتعاونية الاتحاد، مبادرة مجتمعية، بإشراف هيئة تنمية المجتمع في دبي، تهدف إلى دعم وتمكين الصيادين في دبي، من خلال توفير بطاقات مسبقة الدفع من تعاونية الاتحاد، بما يسهم في تعزيز استقرارهم الاجتماعي والاقتصادي، ودعم استدامة مهنة الصيد، باعتبارها جزءاً أصيلاً من الموروث الوطني والثقافي لدولة الإمارات.
وتأتي المبادرة في إطار حرص الهيئة على بناء شراكات فاعلة مع مختلف القطاعات، بما يدعم مستهدفات «أجندة دبي الاجتماعية 33» الرامية إلى تعزيز جودة الحياة وترسيخ مجتمع أكثر تلاحماً وازدهاراً، إلى جانب دعم الفئات المهنية والمجتمعية الحيوية التي تشكل جزءاً من الهوية الثقافية والاجتماعية للإمارة. وأكدت الهيئة أن المبادرة تجسد أهمية التكامل بين الجهات الحكومية والمؤسسات المجتمعية والقطاع الخاص في تحقيق التنمية الاجتماعية المستدامة، مشيدةً بالدور المجتمعي الرائد الذي تقوم به تعاونية الاتحاد، من خلال مساهماتها المستمرة في دعم المبادرات والبرامج الاجتماعية، بما يعكس التزامها بالمسؤولية المجتمعية ودعم الفئات المستحقة.
ونظمت الهيئة جلسة تصميم تشاركي هدفت إلى الاطمئنان على أحوال الصيادين والوقوف على احتياجاتهم، بما يعزز استدامة الدعم الموجه لهذه الفئة ويراعي متطلباتها الاجتماعية والمعيشية. وقالت المديرة التنفيذية لقطاع التطوير الاجتماعي في الهيئة، شيخة الجرمن: «يأتي دعم الصيادين من خلال توفير بطاقات شرائية بالتعاون مع تعاونية الاتحاد، انطلاقاً من أهمية هذه المهنة، باعتبارها جزءاً أصيلاً من الموروث الوطني للإمارات وهويتها الثقافية، وحرصاً على تعزيز الاستقرار الاجتماعي والاقتصادي للصيادين وأسرهم، بما يسهم في الحفاظ على المهن التراثية وتعزيز جودة الحياة».
بدوره، أكد الرئيس التنفيذي لتعاونية الاتحاد، محمد الهاشمي، أهمية تكامل الجهود بين الجهات الحكومية والمؤسسات المجتمعية والقطاع الخاص لتحقيق تنمية مستدامة تنعكس آثارها الإيجابية على المجتمع، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات أجندة دبي الاجتماعية ورؤيتها الطموحة لبناء مجتمع أكثر تلاحماً وازدهاراً.
